It’s Spring!
Lengthening days & warmer weather make going outdoors a pleasure once more. Walking the coast path is back in favour or maybe you'd like to try something new. Book onto a course now and you'll have all summer to practice surfing, kayaking, climbing or whatever.
Spring flowers are a spectacle across the UK in April and May, but the display in Pembrokeshire is exceptional, particularly on the coast, with carpets of pink thrift everywhere. Inland, all the roads are lined by hedge-banks crammed with a profusion of wild flowers.
- Go to St Davids on St Davids Day, it's the spiritual heart of Wales.
- The Puffins and other seabirds start returning from the end of April
- Visit Skomer from mid May to mid June for carpets of Bluebells & Pink Campion
- Take a boat trip to Grassholm to see 65,000 Gannets. The only Gannet colony in Wales.
- Make the most of Easter. All the hotels, B&B's and attractions will be open again.
- Why not try a modern holiday caravan. With heating and all mod con's, they've really changed.
- For a real ‘back to nature' experience, you can't beat camping.
- Sign up for some National Parks walks, talks and Children's fun days. They run throughout May and June.
