Autumn Beauty
Autumn is the best time to walk the coast path, either in its entirety or a bit
at a time. The weather is still warm and fine, the landscape is still green and
pleasant, but most of all, the crowds have gone. You get much of the coast to yourself.
Autumn is a time for one last fling before winter. Make the most of the suns warmth.
It’ll be another six months before it’s strong enough again.
Some Autumnal Highlights:
- From September to November you can see seal pups born on isolated beaches
- Birdwatchers should head for Strumble to see flocks of migrating seabirds
- Believe it or not, the sea is warmest in September. Perfect for surfing & sailing
- Come for some of our best annual events: Tenby Arts Festival,
Pembroke Festival, Fishguard Jazz Festival & Narberth Food Festival
- New on the calendar this year is the Tenby Blues Festival in November
- Pop down at October half term for some pre Halloween fun
- Sign up for some of the National Park walks, talks & children’s fun days. They run
throughout September & October
